Hunter x Hunter (2011) – Characters, Quiz and DLE

Hunter x Hunter (2011) Universe

The world of Hunter x Hunter is composed of a social network marked by the Hunter Association, whose licenses and credentials determine privileges, access to missions, and circulation in restricted areas. The Hunter Exam serves both as a rite of passage and as an informal institution for social screening; possessing a Hunter’s license is a symbolic object that opens doors in cities like Yorknew City and allows participation in high-risk missions.

Recurring Locations and Objects

• Heaven’s Arena — a fighting tower that combines training, betting, and social progress for fighters; it is a logical center for learning Nen.
• Greed Island — a game/island with its own cards and rules that acts as a training and research arena for individuals absent from the continent.
• Yorknew City and auctions — urban centers where the black market, antique auctions, and criminal organizations shape the local economy and violence.
• NGL and Chimera Ant nests — rural and wild environments that reveal environmental tensions and the emergence of biological threats with political impact.
• Hunter’s License and Greed Island cards — objects that carry status, information, and practical advantages in everyday interactions.

Nen is a practical law of social life: it is a system of energy (aura) with explicit rules — category, limitations, promises, and penalties — that dictates how people duel, negotiate, and establish contracts. Institutions like the Hunter Association regulate access to resources, authorize expeditions, and organize internal elections; at the same time, there are informal networks of communication (messengers, informants, auction underworld) that influence decisions. The culture of the world values proofs of competence, reputation, and ranks, and spaces like arenas, auctions, and game islands function as recurring stages where skills, alliances, and social values are tested.
